How to achieve energy conservation and environmental protection in CNC workshops by optimizing production processes and equipment maintenance
1、Optimize production process
Optimization of cutting parameters
In CNC machining, cutting parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate, and cutting depth directly affect machining efficiency and energy consumption.Reasonably adjusting cutting parameters can reduce cutting force and cutting heat, thereby reducing the energy consumption of the machine tool. For example,by conducting experiments and simulations, the cutting speed can be found, which can ensure machining quality and enable the machine tool motor to operate in the interval, reducing unnecessary energy loss.
At the same time, increasing the cutting depth and feed rate appropriately can reduce the number of cutting times, shorten the processing time, and thus reduce overall energy consumption. However,it should be noted that the adjustment of these parameters should be based on the premise of not affecting machining accuracy and tool life.
Process route planning
Reasonable planning of the CNC machining process route can also achieve energy conservation.Reasonably sort the processing steps and minimize the tool's idle stroke and frequent start stop of the machine tool. For example, when processing complex parts, optimizing the machining path can shorten the movement path of the tool between different parts of the part, reduce the movement time of the machine tool in non machining state, and lower energy consumption.
In addition, processing techniques such as dry cutting or micro lubrication cutting are used.Dry cutting does not use cutting fluid at all, avoiding energy consumption and environmental pollution caused by the use and treatment of cutting fluid;Micro lubrication cutting is the process of supplying a small amount of lubricant during the cutting process, reducing the amount of lubricant used and also lowering the energy consumption of cutting fluid recovery and treatment.
2、Equipment maintenance
Precision maintenance of machine tools
Regularly inspect and adjust the precision of CNC machine tools to ensure their machining accuracy. When the precision of the machine tool decreases, more cutting force and cutting heat will be generated during the machining process, resulting in an increase in energy consumption of the machine tool. For example,by regularly checking and adjusting the accuracy of the machine tool's guide rails, screw accuracy, etc.,the machine tool can cut during processing, reducing energy waste caused by accuracy issues.
Equipment cleaning and lubrication
Maintaining the cleanliness of machine tool equipment is crucial. The dust, chips and other impurities inside the machine tool will increase the frictional resistance of the machine tool, increase the load on the motor, and consume more electrical energy.Regularly cleaning the internal and external debris of the machine tool, especially the cooling system, can ensure good heat dissipation performance of the machine tool and reduce energy consumption caused by poor heat dissipation.
Reasonable lubrication is also the key to energy conservation.Choosing the appropriate lubricant and lubricating it according to the prescribed cycle and method can reduce friction between machine tool components and lower energy consumption. For example, using lubricating grease to lubricate the guide rails and screws of a machine tool can effectively reduce the friction coefficient, making the machine tool move more smoothly and saving energy.
Equipment energy system maintenance
Perform regular maintenance on the energy system of CNC machine tools, such as motors, drivers, etc.Check the insulation performance of the motor, the parameter settings of the driver, etc.,to ensure that the motor operates in a high state.Timely replace aging or damaged electrical components to prevent energy waste caused by electrical failures. At the same time,by monitoring the energy system and adjusting the standby and sleep modes of the machine tool reasonably, the energy consumption of the machine tool during non working hours can be reduced.
